JNJ (JUNJI INOUE)

Various Inoues. Exhibition Part 2

September 18th (Wed) - September 22nd (Sun), 2024

12:00-19:00

The last day is until 6 PM.

It's always like that.

It starts unexpectedly.

It begins in a fleeting moment.

Before you know it, it's already started.

Illustrator JNJ's second solo exhibition.

This exhibition features new works from the mysterious "Boy and His Family" series, deepening the mystery even further, as well as drawings depicting various encounters during travels, the risograph magazine "8725" and its original artwork—a powerful display of JNJ's diverse works.

Not being guided, but not being swept along either. Not by chance, not by necessity, not by fate. I think everyone lives like that. When I work hard, persevere, and secure time for myself, I can create my own work. When I'm tired and stressed, I do nothing. I watch movies, drink coffee, and sometimes even travel.

Something began in a place I stumbled upon while cycling through town.

That's all there is to it.

I've drawn various pictures, so I'm exhibiting them.

That's all there is to it—the reason I feel truly alive.

It's simply enjoyable.
