ZINE/ZAKKA/FREE PAPER/GALLERY/RISO GRAPH
SUT primarily stocks zines and miscellaneous goods sourced directly from artists and individuals. We also offer independent books from independent publishers and bookstores, as well as food and drinks from small businesses handling everything from sourcing to production and sales. Our aim is to offer a lineup that you won't find in mass retailers or chain stores. Many of our items are also born from casual conversations with customers who drop by.
These are items that are somewhat removed from trends and popular topics. Because we can't produce many of them, you can feel the thought and care that goes into each and every piece.
ZINE
We have a wide variety of zines from illustrators, photographers, writers, and individuals across various genres. Many of them have unique bindings or are printed using risograph technology. In conjunction with SUT Planning's "Zine and Goods" series, the selection is gradually increasing.
INDEPENDENT BOOK
Because we deal directly with independent publishers and authors, our selection of books and magazines is rare and not available in large bookstores or chain stores . Many of our items are hard to find, and many people find them at Rojiura Utility after they've sold out elsewhere.
PICTURE BOOK
Our selection of picture books is not primarily for children, but rather focuses on works that adults can enjoy. We offer picture books from publishers like "Chiisai Shobo" and India's "Tara Books," which are not only beautiful to read but also serve as works of art for appreciation.
PHOTO ALBUM
This collection includes photobooks and exhibition catalogs of artists and writers who have held solo exhibitions at SUT Gallery.
Currently, a project to produce art books and photobooks under the SUT brand is underway.
ZAKKA
The lineup at SUT Gallery features works and goods from artists who have held pop-ups or solo exhibitions there, as well as works and goods planned for future exhibitions. Since most items are handmade, each piece is truly one-of-a-kind.
UTILITY canvas
This is the New York brand that forms the roots of SUT, as you may know. They offer bags, fashion items, and fabrics made from canvas fabric. Their popular UC aprons are also available. They also have an online store.
NATURAL FOOD
Our goal is to consume foods made in the most natural way possible, and our lineup includes products that our staff themselves eat. Just as we gradually switch from what we eat now to better products, we will also gradually expand our product lineup.
NATURAL DRINK
The "KIMINO" craft sparkling juice series has been part of SUT's lineup since its opening. Made with fruit juice, carbonation, and a touch of brown sugar, it aims to be as natural a beverage as possible. Their "drinking curry," which is completely additive-free and has become quite popular, is also a hit.
