Kohei Daimon Solo Exhibition: Garden of Light

I want to cultivate myself like a field, and then, like giving the harvested crops to people far and near, I want to continue painting.
This sentence is something I came up with while preparing for this exhibition, as a way to symbolically express what painting means to me. I envision my own body and mind, not a machine, as soil, and I hope to deliver the crops that grow from it to the world. And I would be very happy if those crops are joyful and enriching. I would be delighted if you could come and feel as if you were attending a spring tea party in a garden.

Kohei Daimon
Born in 1991
Graduated from Kyoto Seika University, Faculty of Design in 2014
After graduation, worked at a flower shop and the family's sake brewery,
and then decided to become a painter in 2021 and moved to Tokyo.
