Regarding this exhibition, Ryo Inoue began preparations with the intention of "exhibiting the jumbled state of mind, where thoughts and ideas are still unsettled." He also mentioned that he has been working on his own photobook for several years. It stemmed from a tragic event, and the depth of that grief meant it took a long time to process. In this chaotic world, it's necessary to cope with various events, which helps to alleviate sadness. However, this doesn't mean the root of the sadness disappears; the mind remains chaotic as well.

The photobook is nearing completion; there should be nothing lacking.

It's just that the depths of his mind are still jumbled (chaotic).

Simultaneously with the photobook production, he began learning to develop photographs himself from a mentor. The process of developing each image in the darkroom was like giving visible form—images—to the latent images of Inoue's mind.

The pitch-black darkroom, with rock music playing, was like the very "depths of Inoue's heart." The venue for this exhibition will be designed to resemble a darkroom, embodying the depths of Inoue's heart. Furthermore, Inoue says, "I want people to simply look at the photographs in front of them without any preconceived notions, and feel something, or feel nothing at all. I want them to enjoy it in their own way." Perhaps simply letting people feel naturally in their hearts, without doing anything in particular, will play a role in connecting those chaotic "deepest parts of the heart."
