I feel there's a deep connection between podcasts, which freely express themselves through "voice," and zines, which freely express themselves through "paper."

Taking everyday trivial events and the unease of the world, and translating them into voice, words, and visuals from one's own perspective. Because it's a small medium, one can confront one's own feelings directly.

Planning, composition, editing, design. Sometimes even music and art—taking control of everything. Directing one's own thoughts and feelings with one's own hands, without being influenced by anyone else—the direction of "voice" and "paper."

It may be a very minority value system. But those voices and words will surely reach someone's heart, somewhere on Earth. And a miracle of encounter will be born at SUT.

This is a project where "voice and paper" intersect.

【Podcaster ZINE - Call for Submissions】
The theme for November is "Podcaster."

The inspiration came from talking with them at SUT, where I realized that the "comfort of directing one's own voice" resonated with the process of creating a zine.

There are zines published by podcasters, and there are also podcasts hosted by zine publishers. We want themes to be diverse, ranging from those related to the program to those completely unrelated. Why not display your personal zine at SUT?

For submissions in November, SUT will support you with editing consultations for turning your audio into a booklet, risograph printing, and paper selection.
