12:00 - 19:00 / Until 18:00 on the last day

63mokko is a line of wooden eyeglasses handcrafted one by one by Mr. Kanda, who learned woodworking techniques in Hida Takayama.

Wrapped in trees.

Japan boasts one of the world's most diverse wood cultures. Since ancient times, the Japanese people have lived in harmony with wood, and their identity has been intimately intertwined with it.

While wood has long been used in construction and everyday items, 63mokko expands its possibilities even further into "wearable items." Maximizing the unique charm of each type of wood—the different textures, characteristics, and color variations over time—63mokko proposes nostalgic yet innovative "wearable wooden items" using a variety of unconventional methods. This order-taking exhibition and sale will showcase approximately 25 styles of eyeglasses, allowing customers to choose from 30 different types of wood.

Each piece is handcrafted by the artist, working closely with the wood material and in harmony with the wearer's wishes.

The designs are androgynous, neither too youthful nor too old-fashioned. Musashi Kanda, who learned his techniques in Hida Takayama, creates wooden eyeglasses based on the concept of "wearing wood," a brand that creates eyeglasses that can be used for a long time.
