Tea master Tajima Yoshiki

Evening Tea Ceremony Series

Night 30: 2024.04.10 Wed.

19:00-20:30

Night 31: July 31 (Wed.) / Night 32: October 30 (Wed.)

Enjoy a luxurious moment savoring tea brewed by tea master Yoshiki Tajima, who travels around Japan visiting tea farmers and exploring the possibilities of Japanese tea.

Each time, we carefully select 5-6 types of tea leaves from Japanese, Chinese, and Taiwanese teas. At the beginning of the gathering, we present a "tea menu" and serve the teas in order.

While serving the tea, tea master Mr. Tajima engages in conversation about the history of tea, the region, and its current state. Participants diligently take notes and ask questions, creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

The venue is dimly lit, and the sound of the traditional Chinese instrument, the erhu, gently envelops the ambiance. There's a term called "tea intoxication," and some participants even experience a feeling of lightness, as if their bodies are floating.

In the quiet night of the city, the SUT venue becomes a world apart, allowing you to savor the tea at your leisure.
