COLIFICHET（コリフィシェ）はおそらくラテン語のcolla(のり）とfigo(合わせる）から由来していて、フランス語で「ゴタゴタした飾り」「価値のあまりない小間物」を意味しています。昔、女性の髪飾りや建築の余分なオーナメントなどに対してよく使われていたそうです。「コリフィシェっ！」、響きが好きです。

フリルの衣装、パチモンの宝石、謎の魔除け、小さなガラクタが床から天井まで埋め尽くしている舞台裏の廊下、のような空間を想像しながら本展の紙人形を50体ほど創作しました。「人」形といっても動物とか植物っぽいのとか色々います。鱗も羽もツノ付きとか、優しく微笑んだり、イタズラたくらんでそうなのも。お気に入りが見つからないなんて言わせたくない！

絵などよりもかさばるし、保管しにくいかもしれませんが、触って遊べて変形できるからいつもの芸術作品とは違う接し方を楽しめると思います。

他にもイラストの展示とリソグラフで新しく創作したグッズの販売、そして！会期中には「A5サイズB6鉛筆似顔絵会！(投げ銭か物々交換制)」も予定しています。

Colifichet probably derives from the Latin words colla (glue) and figo (to join), and it's a French uncommon (old) word meaning “clumsy little ornament”. It's said to have once been used to describe superfluous dress details or cluttered architecture. I like the sounds.

I created around 50 mobile paper puppets for this exhibition; humanoid, animaloid, botanical, horns, feathers, scales, with a sweet smile or mischievous...
Paper puppets are bulkier and harder to store than usual paintings, but you can interact with; touch, play, reshape, and maybe enjoy a different way to live with an artwork!

There will also be new goodies made by risograph and illustrations, and! I'm also planning an ‘A5-sized B6 pencil portrait session! (free donation system)’ during the exhibition. Details coming soon, DM if you want to book a slot already!

福岡生まれ、ブリュッセル育ち。2021年ウルビーノ美術大学版画科修士課程修了。2022年から2024年まで黄金町AIRに参加。
現在逗子で人物画を主に製作中。
数年間にわたる絵画、彫刻、エッチングの勉強と経験を積んでから、私は自分がドローイング（日本語なら“お絵描き”に近い）に戻っていくのがわかった。それは、日々のスケッチから、太目のオイルパステル、ペン、水彩インク、鉛筆を使った、紙や木や一風変わった支持体へのドローイング、壁画、肖像画、パフォーマティブなライブ・ペインティング、インディペンデントな出版活動にまで及ぶ。
